Firstly, our recruitment exercise is completely free. From application phase to reception of employment letter. Kindly, follow the procedures as sent to your email during phase one. Batch one runs from Nov. 9th-Dec.17th, 2023. Batch two runs between January 1st-31st, 2024.
PHASE ONE - Application
1. You should be familiar with
the use of video conferencing applications like Zoom, Google Meet, etc.
2. You should be capable of
developing every lesson plans.
3. You should be able to
communicate to students with tolerance.
4. You should be able to
always conduct assessment and correction after each lesson and a test after
each topic.
5. You should be able to
access the current scheme of work and textbooks for your subjects.
6. You should have a dedicated
phone number or channel through which your students can contact you at your specified hour(s)
regarding assignments or any questions in relation to class lessons.
7. You should have a tertiary
education certification (Bachelor’s Degree in Education) and/or be very
proficient at any subject you choose to teach.
PHASE TWO - Interview
We'd conduct a general
interview in the following forms:
a. You'll write some standard
educational questions from your subject, answer them and submit according to
guidelines which shall be given to you.
b. You'll write a sample
lesson plan from your chosen subject and submit accordingly. (Our system may
automatically give you a topic to write on).
PHASE THREE - Verifications
We'd need verification
documents supporting:
a. your academic records
(Certification of your Highest Qualification).
b. your full identity
(National ID, Voter's Card, Driver's License or Int'l Passport).
c. You'll have a video
conferencing meeting with the school management to demonstrate an abridged form
of your teaching style using the lesson plan you've prepared while well-dressed.
PHASE FOUR - Training
We'd schedule a seminar to
train you on how to use our platform and other readily available resources to
achieve our goals and give the best to the young gurus of the society.
a. Enhancement of your
performance during the demonstration to the school management.
b. How to use our new technology (whiteboard to teach students) and to hand-mark students' electronic exams scripts if necessary (This E-scripts is designed to simulate real plain sheets that students usually write on, using a Pen/Biro). Moreover, we'd use MCQ (objectives questions) and FBQ (subjective questions) for daily/weekly assignments.
c. Presentation of our general
guidelines for writing lesson plan, teaching style, dressing modalities etc
.
This however, will be a continuous
process until you're perfectly used to it.
PHASE FIVE - Employment
Letters
We'd mail you an employment
letter if the school management approves of your immediate employment in June-July, 2024.
Feedback on why you're not
given immediate employment would also be communicated to other participants, so
they understand where they might improve and have the opportunity to reapply or
be called up in the future even without application if need be.
